Unit diversity is better than people give it credit for. I haven't heard, but yeah, not the best I've ever heard. ![]() If you ask me, alot of this is because the game doesn't make its depth as readily apparent. I have no desire to really play it again. Overall I just found myself to be disappointed. The city management was bad - producing 1 structure or 1 unit at a time is boring and out-dated. They all have identical prototype units: calvalry, pikemen, flyers, etc. Most spells - especially siege spells are basically useless.Įvery race feels the same. The focus on hero spells has been completely removed. ![]() The placement in the battle mode is really bad. For example, unit stacks that have been severely injured (you know how a group starts with 6 guys, then 5 of them die after taking damage) still do full damage. The attention to detail and fine tuning that I come to expect from AoW games is gone. First, the music wasnt nearly as epic as the Aow1&2 games. When a game is bad, it's hard to simply sum-up why it was bad.
